First Year in Review

Often the end of a year (fiscal, birth, anniversary) is a time for reflection, reflecting on the goals achieved, those not attained and those unexpected! In reviewing the PWMCs first year our results exceeded our expectations. Here is the impact we had in our community.

In our first year we were open 6 hours on Wednesdays 49 weeks of the year. In that time we were able to serve 561 patients and had 967 patient visits. We provided more than $120,000* in office visits to members of our community in need of primary and episodic care.

It is also important to note that none of this would be possible without our volunteers. The Point Washington Medical Clinic received more than 3,800 volunteer hours from more than 30 members of our community.

This far exceeded our goals and modest expectations for year one. Needless to say we are very excited to see what year 2 brings!

*This does not include medication assistance or procedures that hove been donated for our patients and is based on $125 cash pay for an urgent care visit.
