The revised building site and plans have been approved by the Point Washington United Methodist Church for a long-term lease, allowing us to expand our facility and our services.
We are currently at capacity and we've outgrown our space. The new building with 4,750 sq. ft. will allow for six examination rooms meaning we will be able to exponentially increase our unduplicated patient visits. New programming planned will include the full spectrum: primary care, preventative, restorative and more!
PWMC Team Expands!
We are very excited to announce that thanks to a grant received from the Florida Association of Free and Charitable Clinics, we've been able to bring both Tasha and Alex onboard to the PWMC team part-time!! Having these two dedicated professionals on our team is a game-changer as we continue to set new clinic records. Even with our limited weekly schedule, we were able to see 374 unduplicated patients, administer 356 COVID tests and have 437 appointments during the month of January.
We're so thankful to 30A 10K, Royal Destinations and the Premier Property Group for getting 2021 off to a fantastic start with combined donations totaling over $30,000!! Their contributions allow us to continue providing radically inclusive healthcare for our community.
